
The Champions League's Matchday 6 featured another game that brought strong emotions and unexpected twists for football fans. On the road, "Ajax" visited "Qarabag" and secured their first victory in the tournament with a spirited and attacking performance, defeating the home side 4-2.
"Qarabag" started the match with the upper hand
In the 10th minute of the clash, Kamilo Duran struck an early goal for the Azerbaijani team, putting "Qarabag" in the lead. His sharp shot forced "Ajax"'s defense to stay alert.
However, just before the end of the first half, Kasper Dolberg netted the ball to equalize, giving the Amsterdam club a path back into the game.
Another dramatic twist in the second half
Shortly after the second half began, "Qarabag" regained the lead. This time the scorer was Mateus Silva, whose precise strike once again ignited joy among the home fans in the stadium.
Yet "Ajax" did not concede to the pressure. The Amsterdam team dominated the final stages of the match and scored three goals in a matter of minutes.
In the 79th minute, Oscar Glukh leveled the score, and in the 83rd minute, Anton Goey put his team ahead. Finally, in the 90th minute, Glukh completed his brace and sealed the victory.
