Manuel Neuer's Potential Departure from Bayern Increases

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer might be playing his final season with the club. Until recently, there was a strong belief that the captain of the Munich giants would extend his contract until mid-2027.

However, the situation now appears less certain. According to journalists Tobi Altschäffl and Christian Falk, the likelihood of reaching a new agreement is currently estimated to be around 50 percent.

Neuer will turn 40 at the end of March. Following this milestone, he is expected to begin negotiations with Bayern's management.

Sources indicate that a definitive decision about the experienced goalkeeper's future is unlikely before these discussions take place. This season, Neuer has appeared in 20 matches under the guidance of coach Vincent Kompany, conceding 21 goals in total.
