PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov has released another statement. The footballer addressed fans in Russia, expressing gratitude for their support.
Safonov said: “Hello, everyone! Over the past two days, I have received numerous messages. Thank you so much for your help and support. It is exactly this encouragement that motivates me to keep moving forward.
I am very happy that I was able to present this celebration not only for PSG but also for our country. Once again, thank you, and I look forward to seeing you at the Russian national team matches,” he said.

On Friday, it was revealed that the goalkeeper had suffered a fractured wrist during the match.
