Harvey Elliott to Return to Liverpool Before Loan Period Ends

Midfielder Harvey Elliott will return to Liverpool before the end of his loan period. The player had been playing on loan for Aston Villa since September.

According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the agreement will be terminated during the winter transfer window. After that, Liverpool will assess the situation regarding its player: Elliott may remain with the club, or he could be loaned out to another team.

However, based on FIFA regulations, Harvey can only play for a club that is not participating in European competitions. Harvey Elliott joined Liverpool from Fulham in 2019 for €1.7 million.

His contract is valid until June 30, 2027. This season, the midfielder has appeared in seven matches and scored one goal.
