Nigeria beat Algeria to reach the Africa Cup semi-finals

In the latest Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final, Nigeria defeated Algeria 2–0 to book a place in the semi-finals. The Nigerian players delivered a very successful performance and will now face Morocco.
In today’s match, Victor Osimhen put his team ahead in the 47th minute, and Akor Adams found the net in the 57th minute. Those goals proved decisive in Nigeria’s victory.

For the record, Nigeria beat Mozambique 4–0 in the play-off stage. Algeria edged Congo 1–0 and successfully advanced to this round.
As a result, Nigeria became the third semi-finalist. On 14 January, they will take on Morocco for a place in the final.
