Materazzi names the three best goalkeepers in football history

Former Italy footballer Marco Materazzi has published his ranking of the strongest goalkeepers in football history. The World Cup-winning defender also included Lev Yashin in his top three. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .

According to Materazzi, the top three are: Gianluigi Buffon, Lev Yashin and Julio Cesar. He also noted that he played on the same team with two of these goalkeepers.

Lev Yashin remains the only goalkeeper to have won the Ballon d’Or: the Soviet legend claimed the award in 1963. Yashin died in 1990.

Recall that Materazzi became a World Cup champion with Italy in 2006.
