In Almaty, Uzbek girls won 23 medals in the ring

On February 15-20, the traditional international tournament for the Yermakhan Ibraimov Prize was held in Almaty. The competition was dedicated to Yermakhan Ibraimov - the prize of the Sydney Olympic champion, held among girls (2008-2009) and teenage girls (2010-2011).

The Uzbekistan national team, coached by Timur Akhbayev, also took part in this prestigious competition, and the result is truly encouraging: 8 gold, 5 silver, 10 bronze, a total of 23 medals! In short, they didn't just say "we're here" in the ring, they proved it with medals. This was reported by the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan.
