An important day for our boxers begins at the 77th Strandja ring

Another very important day awaits Uzbek boxers at the ongoing 77th Strandja International Tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria. International sources also note that the competition will be held from February 21 to March 2 and will be organized on the basis of daytime and evening programs according to Tashkent time.
In today's competitions, our girls will enter the ring in the quarter-finals, and our boys - in the quarter-finals. A total of 12 of our boxers will compete throughout the day. This means that it will be a very meaningful and exciting program not only for our team, but also for fans who are closely watching the competition. The active participation of representatives of Uzbekistan in the tournament in Sofia has also been highlighted in a number of recent reports.
According to the program, in the -48 kg weight category, Farzona Fozilova will compete against Nurselen Yalgatekin from Turkey. Another representative of Uzbekistan in the same weight category, Sabina Bobokulova, will compete with Anel Kudaibergen from Kazakhstan. One of the notable fights in the -51 kg category will be Feruza Kazakova's match against German Machi Klotzer. Reports have emerged that Feruza has been acting confidently in her recent performances, even recording a victory against a US representative.
In the men's -70 kg category, Shavkatjon Boltayev will compete against Brazilian Josiyel Lima da Silva. In the -65 kg category, Abdulloh Madaminov will face Irishman Dean Klansy. These matches are of particular importance for our national team, as each victory brings us closer to the next stage.
Humorabonu Mamajonova, competing in the -57 kg weight category, will face Ireland's Niam Fay. In the same weight category, Nigina Uktamova will compete against Karina Vovk from Ukraine. In the -60 kg category, Sitora Turdibekova will compete against Namuun Monkor from Mongolia. In the -65 kg category, our experienced and promising representative Navbahor Hamidova will face Berfin Kabak from Turkey.
Also, in the -75 kg category, Aziza Zakirova will fight against Italian Melissa Gemini. In the +80 kg weight category, two of our representatives will enter the ring simultaneously: Sobirakhon Shokhobiddinova will compete against Valeria Akhenova from Kazakhstan, and Oltinoy Sotimboyeva will compete against Maria Lochinska from Ukraine. These matches can be one of the most serious trials, especially in terms of both weight and pressure.
The matches will begin at 17:00 Tashkent time in the first program and at 21:00 in the second program. This means that today can become another long and interesting evening for boxing fans of Uzbekistan.
