Young Uzbek taekwondo athletes won 16 medals in Minsk

The prestigious international taekwondo WT tournament "Kubok silneyshix sportsmenov" held in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, has concluded. Members of the Uzbekistan youth national team, representing our country, demonstrated high skills and achieved great success in the overall team standings. Before this competition, our athletes participated in international training camps in Belarus to further strengthen their preparation.
Following intense and uncompromising matches, our representatives managed to win a total of 16 medals. Of these, 6 are gold, 5 are silver, and 5 are bronze. Shohjahon Xolmurodov, Yosinbek Odilov, Asadbek Samandarov, Omadbek Otabekov, Samira Hayitova, and Sitora Asrorova climbed to the top of the podium. They left no chance for their opponents in their weight categories and earned the championship title.
Additionally, Farhod Qosimov, Shermuhammad Qaxxorov, Azizbek Murodov, Zuhra Ismoilboyeva, and Farangis Mahkamboyeva were awarded silver medals. Bronze medals went to Ayubxon Nabiyev, Axadjon Muxtorov, Alisher Pak, Rushanaxon Ravshanova, and Viktoriya Denisenko. These results once again confirmed the high potential of the young future of Uzbek taekwondo on the international stage. The coaching staff expressed their satisfaction with the technical and tactical preparation of our athletes and emphasized their goal to achieve such high results in future competitions.
