Criticism grows at Real Madrid, squad changes expected

Former Real Madrid scout Manolo Romero expressed sharp criticism of the team's players after their exit from the Champions League. His words have sparked significant debate in the Spanish press.
Romero emphasized that the club first needs to attract intelligent players who understand the game. He criticized the level of some players, noting that some do not fully appreciate the honor of representing a club with such a powerful history.
"I am tired of seeing players wearing the jersey of the greatest club in history but not acting with enough intelligence on the pitch," he told Cadena SER.
As a reminder, Real Madrid exited the Champions League quarter-finals after losing 4-6 on aggregate to Bayern Munich. This result has caused great dissatisfaction within the club environment.
Currently, the Madrid side is in second place in the Spanish league, trailing leaders Barcelona by nine points. This makes the race for the championship even more difficult.
Criticism regarding the team's playing style and results under Alvaro Arbeloa continues to grow. Consequently, it is being reported that serious changes to the squad may be implemented before next season.
