Uzbek female boxers secure decisive victories at World Cup

The World Boxing Cup currently taking place in Brazil is proceeding with intense and uncompromising matches. Representing Uzbekistan in this prestigious competition, our female boxers have demonstrated high levels of preparation and skill since the opening rounds.
Talented boxer Farzona Fozilova, competing in the -48 kg weight category, successfully completed her first bout of the tournament. In this match, she entered the ring against an experienced opponent from Morocco, Wissal El Fakir. Throughout the contest, Fozilova displayed activity, precision, and tactical superiority. Maintaining her advantage across all rounds, she ultimately achieved a convincing 4:1 victory to advance to the next stage of the competition.
Furthermore, another skilled athlete representing our country in the -65 kg weight category, Navbahor Hamidova, also began her participation with a win. In the opening round, she faced Anna Jenny of Switzerland. During the match, Hamidova showcased her strong training, physical dominance, and technique. As expected, she defeated her opponent with a 4:1 scoreline to secure a spot in the next round.
