At the time the match begins, both intellectual athletes will be just 20 years old.

  • Javohir Sindorov: The Uzbek chess star showed true courage at the Candidates Tournament in Cyprus. He finished with 10 points out of a possible 14 without suffering a single defeat, securing victory ahead of schedule and becoming the primary challenger for the world crown.

The total budget for this prestigious event is estimated at 8.5 million dollars. The minimum prize fund allocated for the winner and runners-up is 2.5 million dollars.

Rules of Play:

  • Number of Games: Traditionally, the final will consist of 14 games.

  • Winning Threshold: The first player to reach 7.5 points will be declared champion ahead of schedule.

  • Tie-break: If the score is tied after 14 games (7:7), the winner will be determined in additional matches.

The host city will be selected based on applications submitted by May 31 of this year.
