Riise dreams of Olise and Kvaratskhelia transfers for Liverpool

Former Liverpool defender John Arne Riise told GOAL that signing Michael Olise and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia would be excellent for the team. However, the Champions League winner doubts the Merseyside club has the budget for such major acquisitions. This is reported by Goal.com .
Liverpool broke transfer records in the summer of 2025, which may mean the club will have to look for more budget-friendly targets over the next 12 months. This could pose a problem for Arne Slot, who is tasked with refreshing the squad, as several experienced players who won the Premier League title are expected to leave in the coming weeks.
In particular, Andy Robertson and club legend Mohamed Salah are preparing to bid farewell to Anfield and embrace new challenges. Additionally, Ibrahima Konate is on the verge of becoming a free agent, and there is speculation surrounding the potential departures of Dominik Szoboszlai, Curtis Jones, Alexis Mac Allister, and goalkeeper Alisson.
New names will be needed to fill the gaps left by those departing, especially the void left by Mohamed Salah, who scored 257 goals. Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise and PSG star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are being considered as potential replacements.
Riise commented: "Arne Slot spoke about changes at the club for next season. They spent a lot of money last season. I don't know how much they can spend now. I would love to see these players move to Liverpool, but finding players who fit the club's system and budget will not be easy."
