Milan begins negotiations with Oliver Glasner

Italian side Milan has turned its attention to an unexpected candidate in its search for a new head coach to replace Massimiliano Allegri. The San Siro management has scheduled a meeting with former Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner. After a successful stint in the Premier League, the Austrian tactician has moved to the top of the Rossoneri's shortlist. This is reported by Goal.com reports. According to the Daily Mail, Milan's leadership prefers Glasner to rebuild the club and restore its dominance in Serie A. The 51-year-old coach's tactical flexibility and experience in winning trophies have left a strong impression on the club's owners.
Oliver Glasner achieved remarkable results at the helm of Crystal Palace. He reached historic heights with the London club, winning the FA Cup, the Community Shield, and the UEFA Europa Conference League. Such success with a team outside the 'Big Six' has significantly boosted his reputation across Europe.
Additionally, Milan is considering former Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick for a technical director role. The past collaboration between Rangnick and Glasner (during their time at Red Bull Salzburg) is expected to form the foundation for the club's new strategic project. Negotiations are currently at a decisive stage.
