NVIDIA’s new GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB performed significantly worse than its 16GB counterpart, according to tests published by pepelac.news.
In AAA games like Cyberpunk 2077 with Frame Generation enabled, the 8GB card delivered 92.4 FPS, while the 16GB version reached 113 FPS — a 22% gap. Lack of VRAM heavily bottlenecks performance.
In Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, at 1080p, the average FPS dropped by 29% on the 8GB model. Frame stability also suffered, showing up to 30% worse results.
While performance in less demanding games remained close, industry trends show 12–16GB is becoming the new minimum, making the 8GB model feel outdated. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
