Elon Musk: First flights to Mars to begin in early 2025

Famous entrepreneur Elon Musk announced new and large-scale plans regarding the Red Planet — Mars through his social media page.

According to him, the first flights to Mars are expected to begin as early as the start of next year. Initially, robots called Optimus will be sent there. They are expected to test key technologies and build the initial infrastructure to adapt the planet for human life.

In 2027–2028, missions involving humans and the construction of permanent bases are planned to begin.

According to Musk, by 2030, hundreds of rocket launches and the start of city construction are planned, and by 2033, the number of flights is expected to reach 500, along with the launch of resource extraction activities.
