Areas of electronic contracting via Face ID have been identified

The President of Uzbekistan has signed a decree “On additional measures to improve the labor relations and vocational training system and to encourage employers.”

Starting September 1, 2025, businesses in the service, agriculture, and construction sectors with up to 50 employees will be allowed to conclude and terminate electronic labor contracts in the Unified National Labor System (UNLS) using Face ID.

The requirement to notify the authorized body in advance about inspections conducted by state labor inspectors has also been abolished. Furthermore, the rule to warn entrepreneurs at least 10 working days before inspections based on the “risk analysis” system will no longer apply to labor inspections.
