X is preparing to launch a separate messenger application for the iOS operating system called XCHat. This application allows users to make audio and video calls along with personal and group chats.
The main features of XCHat include integration with the X platform (formerly Twitter), end-to-end encryption, file sharing, editing and deleting messages, and screenshot protection.
Also, the absence of advertising in the new messenger is noted as a separate advantage. This can distinguish it from competitors such as WhatsApp and Telegram.
Initially, the XCHat was planned to be released only for iOS devices, and there is no official information about the Android version yet.
