Bosch and Ecovacs have introduced a new robot vacuum cleaner model designed for modern kitchens. The main feature of the device is that it completely hides inside a kitchen cabinet using a special docking station when not in use. Ixbt.com reports on this.
With the help of new technology, the cleaning station becomes a part of the furniture. The device can be connected to the water supply and sewage systems, which relieves the user of the burden of manually filling or emptying water tanks.
After cleaning, the station disinfects the microfiber wipes with hot air at 75 degrees and dries them with a 45-degree airflow.
The robot's height is 8.4 centimeters, allowing it to easily move under furniture. Its suction power is 20,000 Pa, which is significantly higher than previous Bosch models.
Using artificial intelligence, the device recognizes objects in its path and can overcome obstacles up to 2 centimeters high.
A 2-liter bag is used for dust collection. The new model is expected to go on sale in the spring of this year.
Although the exact price of the device has not yet been announced, experts note that it will not be cheap.
