Construction of the first private spaceport in Russia is being planned

The company Space Energy aims to build the first private spaceport in Russia in the Primorye region. This project, named "Primorskiy", is primarily intended for the commercial launch of small spacecraft. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
The new complex will serve small launch vehicles, as well as suborbital, scientific, and technological missions. According to the project authors, the spaceport will have the capacity to conduct up to 50 launches per year.
The main advantage of a private site is flexibility and independence. Unlike state-run spaceports, processes here are accelerated, costs are reduced, and excessive bureaucratic approvals are minimized.
The geographical location of the Primorye region is also of great importance. This area provides favorable trajectories for launching vehicles into sun-synchronous and polar orbits, and also guarantees the safe landing of rocket stages over the sea.
Space Energy has the "Orbita" and "Yasen" ultra-light launch vehicles, as well as the "Kamchatka" suborbital rocket in its arsenal. The first flight of the "Kamchatka-1" rocket is planned for this year.
