Laser system for protecting civilian objects from drones unveiled in Russia

At Russia's CIPR-2026 exhibition, the company Inferit Bezopasnost demonstrated a new laser system designed to combat unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This system was developed to protect industrial enterprises, critical infrastructure, and other civilian areas from drone attacks. This is reported by Ixbt.com news.
The complex includes a 3 kW laser module, radar, thermal imager, video surveillance system, laser rangefinder, and a lidar complex. The system is controlled via specialized AI-based software capable of automatically detecting and tracking targets.
The laser module affects drones within a direct line of sight at a distance of up to 1000 meters. The device has the function of temporarily blinding the target or physically disabling it through thermal impact. The system's targeting accuracy exceeds 90 percent.
According to technical specifications, the complex is capable of continuous operation for 100 seconds. On average, it takes 3 to 5 seconds to neutralize each target, making it a highly efficient defense tool.
