Russia’s Irtish processor recorded 30 FPS in The Witcher 3
At the ExpoElectronica 2026 exhibition in Moscow, the Russian 32-core "Irtysh C632" processor, built on China's LoongArch architecture, was showcased running the demanding game *The Witcher 3*. Utilizing binary translation on a Linux system paired with an AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT, the chip achieved frame rates ranging from 22 to 38 FPS, with performance primarily limited by the code translation process rather than the hardware. The Irtysh lineup, which also includes a 64-core model, is specifically designed for the corporate and commercial sectors and is not expected to be available for general retail.

During testing, the game showed 22–32 FPS on Ultra settings and 25–38 FPS on low settings. According to experts, the low frame rate is linked not to the video card, but to limitations in code translation.
The "Irtish" line also includes the 64-core C664 model. These processors are intended not for ordinary users, but for the commercial and corporate segment, and are not expected to be sold at retail.
