Elon Musk loses lawsuit against OpenAI and Sam Altman

A California jury has rejected Elon Musk's lawsuit against OpenAI founders Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, as well as Microsoft. The jurors unanimously agreed that Musk had missed the statute of limitations for filing the claim. This was reported by Techcrunch.com reports .
Elon Musk had accused OpenAI of abusing its non-profit status and transforming into a profit-oriented structure. However, the evidence and legal arguments presented by the plaintiff failed to convince the jury.
Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers upheld the jury's decision, stating there were sufficient grounds to dismiss the case. This ruling eliminates potential serious risks for OpenAI ahead of the company's IPO (Initial Public Offering).
Following the trial, Elon Musk's attorney, Marc Toberoff, announced that an appeal would be filed against the decision. This conflict has become one of the most high-profile legal battles in Silicon Valley history.
