Like Science Fiction: SpaceX's Super Heavy Rocket Moved at Night

SpaceX carried out the nighttime transport of the Super Heavy Booster 19 at its Starbase facility in Texas. The two-minute video shows the massive rocket stage moving slowly on a self-propelled modular transporter (SPMT) past the company's headquarters. The transport took place in the dark and under strong wind conditions. This is reported by Ixbt.com .

Booster 19 looks incredibly imposing against the backdrop of the base's offices, equipment, and people. The process is reminiscent of scenes from a science fiction movie. SpaceX is currently actively preparing for the next test flight of the Starship rocket, which is scheduled for May 22.

Starship is currently the largest and most powerful rocket system in history. The total height of the complex is 124 meters, and according to Elon Musk, the rocket could grow by another 15–20 percent in the future.

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk announced that the Starship production line is fully loaded. The company plans to build 10 more Starship ships and 5 Super Heavy boosters by the end of the year.
