The source notes that the iPhone 18's design remains largely unchanged, while the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max models will feature a slightly thicker camera module area. It is expected that the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max chassis will be made from a single-piece aluminum alloy, with the camera section covered by Ceramic Shield glass. The overall thickness of the devices is expected to increase: specifically, the iPhone 18 Pro Max will measure 13.77 mm thick including the camera bump (compared to 12.92 mm in the previous model). This indicates a more massive photo module and improved optics.
The new lineup will be available in four colors, including a new Dark Cherry shade. The smartphones are also expected to debut the first A20 Pro chip, based on TSMC's 2nm process technology.
