RZD launches 'Waiting List 2.0' service

During the 'PRO//Dvizheniye. Year of the Passenger' conference, RZD representatives shared their future plans. One of the key innovations is the launch of the 'Waiting List 2.0' service by the end of the year. This was reported by Ixbt.com reports.
The main difference between the new version and the first one is that passengers will now be able to book tickets using electronic vouchers from the Social Fund of Russia. This significantly simplifies the process for socially vulnerable groups.
The system's functionality will also be expanded, allowing passengers to submit requests for multiple trains simultaneously. A feature to edit previously created requests is also expected to be added.
For reference, RZD introduced the 'Waiting List' service for long-distance trains in the summer of 2024. By the summer of 2025, an automatic ticket purchase function for the waiting list was implemented.
