Special attention was given to the project of converting decommissioned Mercedes Conecto buses into electric buses. The project also includes training specialists and introducing advanced technologies to Uzbekistan.
The company’s CEO expressed interest in collaborating on the production of urban, intercity, and tourist buses, as well as minibuses using Spanish technology and branding. At the end of the meeting, Eloy Pérez suggested developing a cooperation project based on the SamAuto plant, taking into account competitiveness and local conditions.
Earlier, it was reported that the number of female bus drivers in Tashkent would increase. In 2025, Toshshahartansxizmat plans to train 500 new female drivers.
