Students are allowed to transfer from full-time to part-time education, Talimxabarlari.uz reported.
According to Clause 9 of the Regulation “On the procedure for transferring, reinstating, and expelling students of higher education institutions,” approved by Annex 3 of the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 393 (dated June 20, 2017), there are certain grounds for rejecting transfer or reinstatement applications.
However, as per Clause 22, transfers to state-funded programs are only allowed between equivalent or related fields of study and only for students already enrolled on state grants — provided there are available grant seats within the academic year’s quota.
In other cases, where no grant quotas are available, the transfer must be processed on a tuition-paying (contract) basis.
Clause 15 specifies that transfer applications are accepted annually from July 15 to August 5.
Required documents for the transfer include:
an application stating the desired field, language, and mode of study, previous institution, and reasons for the transfer;
academic transcript or rating sheet;
copy of the applicant's passport.
