
Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan plan to establish joint production of medical items in the Bishkek Free Economic Zone, Kursiv Media reported.
The project was discussed during a meeting between the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund, the Agency for Pharmaceutical Industry Development, and the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.
The production will be managed by the company “Sanrayd,” and the products will be supplied to hospitals and clinics across Kyrgyzstan.
The Fund will provide consultation on investment attraction and financing conditions.
In total, 14 joint healthcare projects are currently being developed between the two countries.
