
Starting from May 1, Uzbekistan will significantly reduce the duty-free import limits for individuals, according to a resolution from the Cabinet of Ministers, UPL.uz reported.
The new limits are as follows:
• via airports — up to $1,000 (previously $2,000);
• by train — up to $500 (was $1,000);
• by car or on foot — up to $300;
• by courier services — up to $200 per month (was $1,000 per quarter);
• by post — up to $100.
Additionally, from July 20, a minimum period of stay abroad will be required to qualify for these duty-free benefits. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
