Starting July 1, doctors in Uzbekistan will receive a 20% salary increase as part of a pilot project, according to Nova24.uz citing the Ministry of Justice.
The pilot project will be launched in several cities and districts, introducing a new healthcare system model. By January 1, 2026, the model will be fully implemented across all cities in the Samarkand region.
Under the pilot program, medical workers at primary healthcare institutions will receive the following allowances:
• 50% bonus to base salary for those providing mobile medical services.
• An additional 10% of the minimum wage for each unit of assigned population exceeding norms — 0.3% in cities and 0.5% in rural areas.
• 100% bonus to base salary for those completing special family health training programs (based on certification).
Additionally, salaries of doctors at district (city) central hospitals will increase by 20%, and nurses and other medical staff will get a 10% raise.
Healthcare and pharmaceutical workers at family clinics and central hospitals will also receive up to 100% of their monthly salary as a performance-based bonus (KPI). Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
