Uzbektelecom responds to Humans’ accusations
National telecom operator Uzbektelecom has responded to claims made by the company Humans, reports NOVA24. In May 2025, Humans filed a complaint with the Antimonopoly Committee, alleging monopolistic pricing and discriminatory conditions, including reduced internet speed due to debt.

Humans also initiated international arbitration against Uzbekistan. In response, Uzbektelecom stated that Humans, as a virtual operator, has used its network since 2020 without investing in its own infrastructure.

The company rejected claims of pressure, noting that Humans is free to operate with other providers such as Ucell, Beeline, and Mobi.uz. Uzbektelecom stated that Humans consistently violated contractual obligations and failed to pay large amounts for services rendered.

Despite this, services continued to avoid disrupting consumers. On May 8, 2025, the Tashkent Economic Court ruled in favor of Uzbektelecom in its lawsuit against Humans to recover the debt.

The operator warned it will take legal action if false information continues to circulate and emphasized its commitment to transparency, fair competition, and compliance with the law.
