Uzbekistan's population surpasses 37.8 million
As of June 8, 2025, Uzbekistan's permanent population reached 37,803,188 people, according to data from the State Statistics Committee, reports UPL. This marks the crossing of the 37.8 million threshold.

Breakdown:
. Men — 19,037,685.
. Women — 18,765,503.

Experts report that the population increases by approximately 51,500 people monthly, or around 1,700 people daily.

From January to April 2025, Uzbekistan recorded 266,478 births — 8,000 fewer compared to the same period last year.
