A total of $5 billion will be invested in the construction of the Sea Breeze resort in Uzbekistan’s Tashkent region, reports nova24.uz, citing the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade.
The investor is Agalarov Development, a company from Azerbaijan. The project will cover 577 hectares, with the first phase developing 100 hectares.
The goal is to improve tourism infrastructure, create new jobs, and attract foreign tourists.
The site will be divided into 10 compact zones, each featuring leisure and service facilities. A bridge will connect the two shores of the reservoir.
Plans also include boulevards, beaches, and recreation areas near the water, as well as hotels, cottages, homes, restaurants, and viewing platforms on the hills. The complex will also feature cultural, educational, medical, and sports facilities, making it suitable for year-round living. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
