Uzbekistan to face extreme heat up to 44°C

From June 16 to 19, 2025, Uzbekistan will be hit by a surge of very hot air from the south, according to Uzhydromet head Sherzodkhuja Khabibullakhuja, reports nova24.uz.

Forecast breakdown:

• June 16–17 — high heat in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm
• June 17–19 — heat across the rest of the country

Daytime temperatures will rise to 40–42°C, and in southern and desert areas may reach 43–44°C.
