Uzbekistan — an observer, but an active participant
It is known that Uzbekistan is not yet a full member of the EAEU, but as an observer state, it actively participates in the processes within the union. On June 27, at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Minsk, Shavkat Mirziyoyev also participated as the head of the observer state.
In his speech, the president noted that further expansion of economic ties with Eurasian countries, full utilization of the existing potential, and implementation of joint initiatives in trade, investment, logistics, and agriculture have strategic importance for Uzbekistan.
Mirziyoyev — supporter of a practical approach
In his statements, Shavkat Mirziyoyev did not limit himself to political declarations, but gave special emphasis to concrete economic mechanisms, practical results, and programs that bring benefits to both sides. According to him, the agreements and practical cooperation projects with EAEU member states contribute to strengthening Uzbekistan’s foreign economic policy.
Conversation with Putin — foundation of multifaceted relations
During the meeting with Putin, issues of further intensifying bilateral relations, implementing new investment projects, and expanding cooperation in the fields of transport and energy were discussed. It is also noted that opinions were exchanged on issues of regional stability and security.
This meeting was a continuation of the regular dialogue and trustful relations between the leaders of the two states, once again confirming the strong foundation of strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
