
According to the 2025 safety index published by the analytics portal Numbeo, Uzbekistan has been ranked among the 25 safest countries in the world. The country received a safety index score of 73.4 out of 100, while its crime index stood at 26.6 — considered a low level.
Uzbekistan ranked 25th, ahead of its Central Asian neighbors: Kazakhstan came in at 73rd, and Kyrgyzstan at 101st place.
Numbeo’s rankings are based on user surveys and reflect subjective perceptions of crime rather than official statistics.
The top-ranked safest countries included the UAE, Andorra, and Qatar. The most dangerous were listed as Haiti, Papua New Guinea, and Venezuela.
