More than 41,000 protection orders issued for Uzbek women

Since the beginning of 2025, 41,051 protection orders have been issued for women in Uzbekistan,citing the National Agency for Social Protection.

These legal orders are meant to shield women from violence, harassment, and threats, offering a layer of official protection.

In addition, 512 women and 709 of their children were placed in rehabilitation and adaptation centers, where they received necessary psychological, social, and legal support.

Daytime social services were provided to 11,914 women through the "Inson" centers, and another 4,006 women were assisted at primary support points.
