Diplomats from Uzbekistan and Jordan will now travel visa-free

Uzbekistan and Jordan have officially ratified an agreement allowing visa-free travel for diplomatic passport holders.

The agreement, originally signed on February 3, 2025, in the Jordanian capital Amman, came into force following Uzbekistan’s Presidential Resolution No. PQ–239 issued on July 30, 2025.

Under this agreement, diplomats from both countries can enter, stay, and move across each other’s territories without requiring a visa. This move is expected to strengthen bilateral ties and streamline diplomatic cooperation.

Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been appointed the authorized body responsible for implementing the agreement.
