According to Uzhydromet, on August 14, hot and dry summer weather will persist across the country. Most regions will see partly cloudy skies with no precipitation expected. However, in some areas, wind intensification and dust storms are possible.
Tashkent city
The capital will be mostly sunny with some clouds, no rainfall expected. Winds from the east at 3–8 m/s, with a slight increase possible during the day. Temperatures will be 21–23°C at night and 35–37°C during the day.
Karakalpakstan and Khorezm
Partly cloudy with no precipitation. Winds from the east at 7–12 m/s, with occasional gusts reaching 13–18 m/s. Strong winds may cause dust storms. Temperatures will be 15–20°C at night and 30–35°C during the day.
Bukhara and Navoi
Partly cloudy and dry. East wind at 7–12 m/s, with occasional gusts up to 13–18 m/s. Dust storms possible. Temperatures 19–24°C at night, 34–39°C during the day.
Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh, and Samarkand regions
Partly cloudy, no precipitation. Winds at 7–12 m/s, with occasional gusts up to 13–18 m/s. Dust storms possible. Temperatures 19–24°C at night, 32–37°C during the day.
Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions
Partly cloudy and dry. Winds at 7–12 m/s, occasionally up to 13–18 m/s. Dust storms possible. Temperatures 21–26°C at night, 35–40°C during the day.
Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions
Partly cloudy, no precipitation. Winds at 5–10 m/s, occasionally up to 13–18 m/s. Temperatures 19–24°C at night, 32–37°C during the day.
Mountainous areas
Partly cloudy or occasionally variable cloudiness, no precipitation. Winds at 7–12 m/s, occasionally up to 13–18 m/s. Temperatures 14–19°C at night, 25–30°C during the day.
Experts advise residents in areas prone to strong winds and dust storms to take safety precautions and, in hot weather, to drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration.
