In Beijing, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Chinese President Xi Jinping held high-level talks that ended with the signing of several significant agreements. This was reported by Uz24.uz.
Among the major agreements were a cooperation program linking Uzbekistan’s “Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy with China’s “Belt and Road Initiative,” the establishment of cultural centers in both countries, and a health services cooperation agreement.
Additionally, both sides agreed on technical and economic collaboration, phytosanitary standards for exporting Uzbek melons and almonds, cooperation in space sciences, digital economy, human capital development, and competition policy. A sister-city partnership between Samarkand and Tianjin was also announced.
