The system of teaching foreign languages in Uzbekistan is expanding. According to the new initiative, the Chinese language will be gradually introduced in higher educational institutions, technical schools, and general education schools.
During the President's visit to China, a number of strategic agreements were signed. Among them is a package of promising projects with large companies in the fields of energy, geology, chemistry, transport, agriculture and water management for a total amount of 35 billion dollars.
And for the implementation of such projects, highly qualified personnel are needed. In particular, the need for specialists capable of mastering modern technologies and fluent in Chinese was noted.
For this purpose, two Uzbek-Chinese workshops will be organized in each region. In these workshops, it is planned to conduct practical training in professional areas, teach advanced technologies, and harmonize the experience of the two countries.
More than 100 native speakers and volunteer teachers will be involved in the process of teaching Chinese. They will conduct classes based on modern programs in cooperation with local teachers.
