Another important step has been taken towards the digitalization of medical services in Uzbekistan. Now, a procedure has been introduced for prescribing prescription drugs only by electronic prescription. This is stated in the approved special regulation.
According to the new regulation, medicines issued on the basis of an electronic prescription must be registered in Uzbekistan. The attending physician enters the necessary information about the patient into the information system used in the medical institution. Then this data is automatically transferred to the "Electronic Medical Card" module.
After that, the doctor prescribes the medicine to the patient by creating an electronic prescription. The prescription is approved electronically and a QR code is automatically applied to it. In this process, all necessary information is stored in the "Electronic Prescription" module.
Doctors will also have the opportunity to monitor the implementation of prescribed medications. That is, which medications are given to the patient and their circulation will be fully controlled.
Most importantly, all information about the electronic prescription is recorded in the patient's personal electronic medical card. This allows doctors to receive complete information about the patient's treatment process and medications taken in previous periods.
