On the eve of Teachers' and Mentors' Day, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev honored the teachers who promote knowledge and enlightenment in the country and teach young people without sparing their labor. On this occasion, Billura Ikromova, who teaches English at School No. 38 in the Romitan district of the Bukhara region, was awarded a special gift by the head of state.
Billura Ikromova, with her knowledge and experience, is a great example not only for local schoolchildren, but also for rural girls. He studied at the prestigious University of Reading in Great Britain and holds international certificates such as TESOL, ESOL, and IELTS (C1).
Refusing high-paying job offers from high-ranking agencies and international organizations, Billura chose his homeland, raising children in a remote village. At her initiative, special mentoring programs were launched for rural girls. Thanks to this, many young people are attracted to foreign grants and educational programs.
In recognition of his selfless work and dedicated service, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev personally presented him with a BYD Chazor car. This became a great source of inspiration not only for the teacher, but also for the entire team.
