On September 20, at approximately 1:00 PM, a fire broke out at the Burchmulla State Forestry, located on the territory adjacent to the village of Yakatut, Bostanlyk district, Tashkent region.
Forestry officials, more than 40 workers, a 10-person volunteer fire-rescue team consisting of local youth, and district police officers arrived at the scene. Thanks to their joint efforts, the fire was completely extinguished by 14:40.
As a result of the fire, about 1.5 hectares of dried grass burned down. The reason is cited as the fact that citizen S.D., born in 1956, residing in the village of Yakutut, did not comply with safety regulations during the welding of a metal pipe for drinking water.
