During an inspection of the Urikzor market in Tashkent, water meters of the "Eko nom" brand, manufactured in Russia, and the "Novator" brand, manufactured in Ukraine, were discovered.

Analyses conducted by the Inspectorate for Control of Technical Regulation showed that they do not meet current standards.

As a result of the use of these meters:

  • incorrect recording of water consumption;
  • distortion of statistical data;
  • errors in resource planning;
  • cases of excessive water use may occur.

Therefore, the sale and use of this type of meter, manufactured in Russia and Ukraine, is prohibited.
