The popular CNN Travel portal has published a list of the most delicious and unique breads in the world. The national dish of Uzbekistan - Uzbek bread - also occupies a worthy place in this list.
The publication notes that Uzbek bread is distinguished not only by its taste but also by its appearance - it is decorated with flowers, patterns, and special stamps. These flatbreads, traditionally prepared in tandoors, have different shapes and tastes in each region, for example, there is a peculiarity of Tashkent, Samarkand, or Bukhara flatbreads.
After the bread is ready, it is delivered to the markets and restaurants with the help of special messengers. It is especially noted that this tradition has been preserved to this day.
CNN Travel, familiar with competitions and lists of food varieties, rated Uzbek bread as one of the best in the world. This, in turn, is another international recognition of our country's gastronomic heritage.
