Why is the number of metro users increasing day by day?

According to the National Statistics Committee, a total of 205.7 million people used metro services in January-September 2025.

This indicator increased by 14.4 million passengers compared to the corresponding period of 2024, with an increase of 7.5%.

According to calculations, in the first nine months of this year, an average of 753.5 thousand passengers were transported daily by the metro.

Officials noted that the increase in passenger traffic is explained by the expansion of the metro network and the commissioning of new stations.
