The number of passengers on Uzbekistan Railways has increased sharply

According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-September 2025, more than 8.1 million passengers were transported by rail.

This is 957.2 thousand people more than in the same period last year, and there is a steady increase in the number of passengers transported by rail.

According to calculations, an average of 29.8 thousand passengers traveled by train daily during this period. Experts attribute this indicator to the revival of domestic tourism and a favorable transport infrastructure in the country.
