According to the Labor Code of Uzbekistan, the working day is reduced on the eve of a holiday.

Legislation stipulates that working hours must be reduced by at least one hour for all employees before non-working public holidays.

Tomorrow, May 9 — Day of Remembrance and Honor, is a public holiday. Therefore, employees working today have the right to leave one hour early.

This rule applies to employees in all organizations and institutions. Experts emphasize the importance of employees being aware of their labor rights.
